Celestial Suite

This large suite has an unbeatable view from the room and the private sitting area, which is positioned under a large palapa with its own bar. The canopied queen size bed overlooks the ocean-facing window. The full-size Mexican painting of the Immaculate Virgin is in its original frame, circa 1880. Hanging in a corner is a gold-leaf wooden Venetian chandelier with candles from the mid 1800’s. The nightstand, next to the bathroom door, was originally owned by Luther Burbank. Reservations

Rincon de Angeles Suite

This accommodating suite has two balconies, a private terrace, king size bed and grand ocean and city views. Enter through the arched opening of the private passageway and observe a Peruvian painting of San Miguel, circa 1910. Inside the suite is a large English armoire from the early 1900’s. The 17th century Mexican painting in the room is of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, or Our Lady of the Rosary, who was the patron saint of the Franciscan Missions in the Americas. On the night stand to the left of the bed is a small, dressed, hand-carved, polychrome Mexican statue of the Virgin Purisima, circa 1780. Casa Campanas Suite

This one bedroom, completely private villa offers a close-up view of the cathedral and Banderas Bay. The suite has a king size bed, salon, dining room, kitchenette and several terraces, one cradling a private hot tub. The exquisite 19th century antiques include a rectory table, carousel camel and a Mexican trunk, as well as wall sconces, crystal chandeliers and Persian carpets. This charming suite opens to a spacious private terrace that overlooks expansive views of the Banderas Bay, as well as the historic cathedral. The suite is named for the fountain’s hand-carved stone statue of the Virgin de Talpa located in its small patio area. The Virgin is renowned for granting miracles to her devotees. Among the antiques in the room is a 19th century king size bed frame. The bed was created by using the footboard to extend the width of the headboard. The bathroom sink sits in a 19th century dresser graced on each side by antique wall sconces. The dressing area’s armoire and crystal chandelier are also from the 19th century.
